How Instant 10DLC Campaign Migration Works - A Simple, Accurate Guide for CSPs

People celebrating

Migrating live 10DLC traffic has historically been one of the hardest parts of switching providers. Re-registering Campaigns, waiting on new vetting, risking lower throughput, and pausing message traffic created unnecessary friction for ISVs and their customers.

Today, The Campaign Registry (TCR) has solved the core problem with its CNP Campaign Migration Tool—and Telgorithm fully supports it, enabling ISVs registered as CSPs (Campaign Service Providers) to migrate existing Campaigns without re-vetting and without downtime.

While many providers allow migrated Campaigns to be received, Telgorithm is one of the only providers that can fully automate this process so Campaigns are immediately approved on our side—no re-vet, no manual review, no delays. This is a major advantage for ISVs that need predictable, disruption-free onboarding.

Here’s a clear look at how the process works and what Telgorithm’s role is.

Step 1: TCR Enables the Campaign Transfer

The Campaign Registry’s CNP Campaign Migration Tool allows Campaigns to move from one connectivity partner to another while keeping:

  • The original Brand
  • The original Campaign
  • The original vet score and throughput
  • The existing DCA (Direct Connect Aggregator) acceptance

This tool is owned and operated by TCR. To use this tool, a software provider needs to be registered as a CSP and request to activate it via TCR. It also needs to be supported by the CNP (Connectivity Partner), AKA API provider.

Step 2: Telgorithm Supports the Migration Request

When a CSP requests to migrate Campaigns to Telgorithm through TCR:

  1. TCR processes the migration request and updates the Campaign’s connectivity partner to Telgorithm.
  2. Telgorithm receives the migration data including the original Campaign ID, use case, vet score, and DCA approval status.
  3. We validate everything ensuring the Campaign is active, compliant, and eligible per TCR’s rules.

At this point, the Campaign is officially mapped to Telgorithm.

Step 3: Phone Numbers Are Ported (Telgorithm’s Part)

Once the Campaign is migrated, CSPs simply port the associated phone numbers to Telgorithm.

During the porting process, our platform automatically:

  • Detects the Campaign the numbers belong to
  • Re-links numbers to the Campaign within Telgorithm
  • Ensures throughput and vet score carry over
  • Activates traffic with zero message interruption

Importantly, Telgorithm is one of the only API providers that can complete this step end-to-end without triggering a re-vet or requiring manual review. The migrated Campaign is instantly recognized and approved in our system, keeping the process seamless for ISVs and customers.

Your team doesn’t need to rebuild workflows, re-register anything, or wait for new approvals.

Step 4: Messaging Continues Without Downtime

Because the original TCR Campaign stays intact:

  • NO RE-VET REQUIRED
  • No new Campaign submission
  • No throughput changes
  • No “pending approval” period
  • No disruption to live customer traffic

CSPs get a clean, fast, and predictable migration—something that wasn’t possible before TCR introduced its tool.

Why This Matters for CSPs

After getting customers registered over the past few years—and navigating constant compliance updates—the last thing any software provider wants is to change API providers and force every customer to re-register. It’s a nightmare scenario. ISVs only do it when they have no choice… when the house is on fire.

This is exactly why Telgorithm has consistently encouraged ISVs to become registered CSPs. Being a CSP is the only way to truly own your Brands and Campaigns, instead of relying on a downstream provider’s registration workflow.

And in early 2024, TCR reinforced this importance by launching the Campaign Migration Tool, which is only available to CSPs. That alone should tell API providers where the ecosystem is heading.

As a CSP, you gain full visibility and control over the compliance and registration lifecycle, including:

  • When and how Brands and Campaigns are created
  • What’s submitted to the DCA for approval
  • The exact DCA response and timestamp
  • Any required updates or corrections
  • Your customers’ ongoing compliance status

This level of ownership matters.

Because when you combine CSP control with TCR’s Campaign Migration Tool, you unlock something ISVs have never had before:

The ability to switch connectivity partners without disrupting customers, restarting registration, or risking compliance.

It’s the future-proof foundation every API provider needs heading into 2026.
